Head Start and Pre-Kindergarten Registration
Notification of Acceptance Status
Throughout the summer, parents/guardians of eligible children will be notified of their placement in a Head Start or Pre-Kindergarten early childhood program. Acceptance letters and/or emails will begin to be distributed on August 14, 2020.
Update: Currently, income-eligible Priority I students are being accepted and admitted for enrollment in their home school. Priority II student information will be released in late August.
The Department of Equity, Engagement, and Early Access has oversight for a variety of federally and state/locally funded programs.

- Title I is a federally funded program for economically disadvantaged children. We serve five elementary schools in the Lexington Park corridor including George Washington Carver, Green Holly, Greenview Knolls, Lexington Park, and Park Hall Elementary Schools.
