2020-2021 Pre-Kindergarten and Head Start Update
St. Mary’s County Public Schools will deliver all instruction virtually for the next three weeks, November 16 – December 4, 2020. This includes all students enrolled in Pre-Kindergarten 3, Pre-Kindergarten 4 and the Head Start Programs at Benjamin Banneker and Greenview Knolls Elementary.
Acceptance of new or current 3 or 4-year-old students on the Priority 2 Waitlist will remain on hold until December 4, 2020. At that time, additional information regarding in-person and virtual instruction will be announced by the Superintendent. New information regarding Priority 2 waitlisted students will be announced after December 4, 2020 for the 2020-2021 school year.
The Department of Equity, Engagement, and Early Access has oversight for a variety of federally and state/locally funded programs.
