Transportation

The Department of Transportation is committed to offering effective and efficient transportation for St. Mary’s County Public Schools' students.    

The Department of Transportation is responsible for:

  • Service - planning, monitoring, and coordinating student transportation services;
  • Compliance - ensuring transportation operations comply with all Federal, State, and local laws, regulations, and policies;
  • Management - managing bus contractor items, bus driver and bus attendant items, weather items, equipment items, and budgetary items related to transportation of students.
