Suicide Prevention

Suicide is the third leading cause of death among young people ages 10-19. This document outlines SMCPS’ plan to prevent, assess the risk of, intervene in, and respond to youth suicidal behavior. This plan is designed to be paired with other SMCPS initiatives that support the emotional and behavioral wellbeing of youth.
