If a student's laptop is in need of a repair, please submit an IT service desk ticket (formerly Helpdesk). The tickets entered into our Service Desk get routed to the site based technicians. Please be as specific as possible in your request details. We have service desk instructions for students if you need assistance.

A laptop charger costs $35. You can purchase a laptop charger from the Dell website.

If you choose to have the school issue you one, it must first be purchased. A fine will be assessed and can be paid using My School Bucks. Please pay the INVOICE. Do not add funds to a meal account.

Students should charge their laptops/iPads prior to coming to school each day. They can also bring their charger. Lost chargers cost 35.00 and a new charger cannot be issued until a student has paid for the new charger. We cannot lend out chargers.

Students are responsible for bringing their laptops to school and are treated like any other instructional resource such as a textbook. Laptops are only loaned when a student’s device is being repaired. 

No. ITS will not support any hardware or software on personal devices. ITS will only troubleshoot their connection to the BYOD network.

To clean a device at home, first power off the device. Moisten a microfiber or lint-free cloth and wipe the computer gently. Do not spray water or any cleaner solution directly on the device. Spray or wet the cloth, then wipe down the machine. Avoid excess wiping which might cause damage. Do not use aerosol sprays, bleaches, or abrasive cleaners. More information on cleaning your devices can be found here.
