Summer Meals 2026
St. Mary's County Public Schools Food & Nutrition Services is pleased to announce the non-congregate summer meal service starting Wednesday, June 17, 2026 and ending Wednesday, August 19, 2026.
All meals are free, meals come in a 7-day meal pack that includes breakfasts, lunches, fruits, vegetables, and milk for 5 days for children under 18 years old. Participants must take the entire meal pack. Menus can be found here. (COMING SOON!)
Registration is required. Registration form can be found here (COMING SOON!). Due to USDA Regulations, meals must be picked up by a parent or guardian. Pre-registration will close Friday, June 12th, at 2:00 PM. If the pre-registration window is missed, parents may register their children on-site during a pickup time, but must bring them with them.
Meal pickup days are Wednesdays from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM OR 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Meals can be picked up from the following locations:
Margaret Brent Middle School will offer an additional pickup site; this site will be for families that qualify for Free & Reduced Price Meals. For more information about qualifying, visit this site. Families without children enrolled in SMCPS requesting to pick up meals at Margaret Brent Middle School should contact the Food Services Office at 301-475-4256 x5 or foodservice@smcps.org for more information about applying.
