2026 Summer Arts Academy
Thank you for being interested in our summer programs!
For each student you are enrolling, you will need:
Dates: June 22-25
Registration deadline: May 18, 2026
Time: 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
Location: Leonardtown High School
Grades: Entering grades 5th - 9th for the 26-27 school year*
Only students who will be 5th through 9th graders in the fall of the 26-27 school year may register for this camp.
Students must have at least one year of experience and bring their own instrument for band or orchestra majors.
Cost: $250 (Paid via MySchoolBucks)
Description:
At the Summer Arts Academy, students have the opportunity to explore multiple topics in the arts through engagement in the creative process. Participating students select a camp "major" to focus on during the week.
The available opportunities include art, band, orchestra, and theatre.
Additionally, students have the opportunity to participate in two "minors."
Examples of previous opportunities, subject to change, include: bucket drumming, composing, musical theatre, cartoon art, and piano.
