Maryland’s FAFSA Deadline is March 1, 2026.
Maryland’s FAFSA deadline is approaching. All high school seniors are strongly encouraged to complete the FAFSA to access scholarships, grants, low-interest loans, and career/technical funding opportunities.
The Maryland state deadline to submit the 2026–2027 FAFSA for priority consideration of state grants (such as the Educational Assistance Grant) is March 1, 2026. For maximum financial aid eligibility, including institutional aid at schools like UMD, it is highly recommended to file by this date.
