National School Nurse Day
The Board recognized May 8, 2024, as School Nurse Day, sharing our collective appreciation for our school nurses serving in St. Mary’s County Public Schools.
Pupil Personnel Worker Month
In celebration of our Pupil Personnel Workers, the Board recognized May as Pupil Personnel Workers’ Month in appreciation for their work supporting our students and families.
LHS Concession Stand
The Board approved a contract to construct a new concession stand and restroom facility for the Leonardtown High School stadium.
Math Textbook Adoption
The Board of Education approved the adoption of new textbooks and materials for secondary mathematics programs, which will be in place for the 2024-2025 school year.
