LEONARDTOWN, MD – Superintendent of Schools, Dr. J. Scott Smith, announces the administrative appointment made by the Board of Education at its meeting of December 10, 2025.
The Board appointed Ms. Kara Sostre as Assistant Principal, 11 month, at Evergreen Elementary School. Ms. Sostre holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s Degree from Towson University. Ms. Sostre currently serves as a Third Grade Teacher at Evergreen Elementary School.
Ms. Sostre’s appointment will become effective December 15, 2025.
