LEONARDTOWN, MD – Superintendent of Schools, Dr. J. Scott Smith, announces the administrative appointment made by the Board of Education at its meeting of November 5, 2025.
The Board appointed Ms. Rebecca Wait as Supervisor of Secondary Science and K-12 Health, 12 month, in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction. Ms. Wait holds a Master’s Degree from Towson University and a Bachelor’s Degree from Virginia Tech. Ms. Wait currently serves as an Assistant Principal, 11 month, at Evergreen Elementary School.
Ms. Wait’s appointment will become effective November 10, 2025.
