LEONARDTOWN, MD – St. Mary’s County Public Schools (SMCPS) is asking all parents/guardians who do not already have a MySchoolBucks account to create an online account.  The MySchoolBucks platform is a convenient, secure, and efficient school payment solution for all stakeholders.

MySchoolBucks is a user-friendly platform designed to streamline the process of managing student meals and school fees. The application provides on-the-go access to meal balances, purchase histories, and the ability to make secure payments directly from smartphones or other devices.

Some of the key features and benefits of MySchoolBucks include:

  • Convenience: Available 24/7 via the web and mobile app, allowing parents to manage accounts anytime, anywhere.
  • Efficiency: Eliminates the need for checks and cash, reducing time and hassle for both parents and students.
  • Flexibility: Supports payments using credit/debit cards and electronic checks for various school expenses, including meals, field trips, and other fees.
  • Security: Adheres to the highest security standards, including PCI and CISP compliance, ensuring your information is protected.

The enrollment process is easy and getting started is simple. Parents can visit the MySchoolBucks website or download the free "MSB Parent" application from their device's app store. After creating a free account by clicking "Sign Up for Free," users can add their child’s information (using the school name and student ID or birthdate) to establish their account. A confirmation email will be sent to complete the setup. Once registered, parents can easily add funds, view current balances, and make payments for meals, field trips, and other school fees.  Please note: Funds deposited in the meal account cannot be transferred to invoices or to the school store.
