LEONARDTOWN, MD – Superintendent of Schools, Dr. J. Scott Smith, announces the administrative appointment made by the Board of Education at its meeting of June 10, 2026.

The Board appointed Ms. Christi Wenk as Assistant Principal, 11 month, at Green Holly Elementary School.  Ms. Wenk holds a Master’s Degree from McDaniel College and a Bachelor’s Degree from Towson University.  Ms. Wenk currently serves as an Instructional Resource Teacher, 10 month, at Green Holly Elementary School.    

The Board of Education was informed of the following Administrative Transfers:

Mr. Zachary Adams will transfer from Assistant Principal, 11 month, at Captain Walter Francis Duke Elementary School to Assistant Principal, 11 month, at Esperanza Middle School.  

Mr. Todd D’Imperio will transfer from Assistant Principal, 11 month, at Esperanza Middle School to  Assistant Principal, 11 month, at Captain Walter Francis Duke Elementary School.

Ms. Heather Wysokinski will transfer from Supervisor of Library/Media & Digital Resources, 12 month in the Department of Accountability and Reporting to Supervisor of Accountability, 12 month, in the Department of Accountability and Reporting.  

Ms. Wenk’s appointment and Mr. Adams's, Mr. D’Imperio’s, and Ms. Wysokinski’s transfers will become effective July 1, 2026.
