LEONARDTOWN, MD – Superintendent of Schools, Dr. J. Scott Smith, announces the administrative appointments made by the Board of Education at its meeting of December 18, 2024.
The Board appointed Mr. Ryan Hanley as Supervisor of Instruction - Physical Education, Secondary Health, and Athletics in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction. Mr. Hanley holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Salisbury University, and a Master’s Degree from the College of Notre Dame of Maryland. He currently serves as an Activities Resource Teacher at Great Mills High School.
The Board also appointed Ms. Anna Fiore as Supervisor of Instruction - Elementary Mathematics in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction. Ms. Fiore holds a Bachelor’s Degree from McDaniel College and a Master’s Degree from Towson University. She currently serves as an Instructional Resource Teacher at Lexington Park Elementary School.
These appointments will become effective January 6, 2025.
