LEONARDTOWN, MD – Superintendent of Schools, Dr. J. Scott Smith, announces the administrative appointment made by the Board of Education at its meeting of July 22, 2026.
The Board appointed Mr. William Miller as Assistant Principal, 11-month, at George Washington Carver Elementary School. Mr. Miller holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Wilkes University in Pennsylvania, and a Master’s Degree from Notre Dame of Maryland University. Mr. Miller currently serves as an Assistant Principal at J.C. Parks Elementary School in Charles County Public Schools.
Mr. Miller's appointment will become effective on July 29, 2026.
