Administrative Appointments and Transfer Announced - August 14, 2024

LEONARDTOWN, MD – Superintendent of Schools, Dr. J. Scott Smith, announces the administrative appointments and transfer made by the Board of Education at its meeting of August 14, 2024.

The Board appointed Ms. Anna Mudd Morris as Supervisor of Special Education, 12 month, in the Department of Special Education.  Ms. Mudd Morris holds a Master’s Degree from the University of South Carolina and a Bachelor’s Degree from Indiana University.  Ms. Mudd Morris currently serves as an IEP Facilitator at Leonardtown Middle School.

Mr. Kyle Kebaugh has been appointed as Operations Coordinator, 12 month, in the Department of Operations.  Mr. Kebaugh holds a Master’s Degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor’s Degree from Shepherd University. Mr. Kebaugh currently serves as an Operations Manager, with St. Mary’s County Government. 

The Board of Education was informed of the following Administrative Transfer:

Ms. Andi Owens will transfer from the Instructional Compliance Coordinator (Grant-funded) in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction to the Acting Comprehensive Coordinated Early Intervening Services Coordinator (Grant-funded) in the Department of Special Education. 

Ms. Mudd Morris’ appointment will become effective August 15, 2024.

Mr. Kebaugh’s appointment will become effective August 26, 2024.

Ms. Owen’s transfer will become effective immediately.
