The Board of Education of St. Mary’s County on behalf of St. Mary’s County Public Schools (SMCPS) is requesting sealed bids from experienced and qualified Contractors to The Board of Education of St. Mary’s County on behalf of St. Mary’s County Public Schools (SMCPS) is requesting sealed bids from experienced and qualified Contractors to provide services to pump and transport waste from sewage, septic, lift stations and grease traps as needed at locations throughout the school system. Contractors responding to this Invitation to Bid (ITB) must be available by telephone twenty-four (24) hours a day, three hundred and sixty‐five (365) days a year, and be able to arrive at a worksite within two (2) hours of receiving an emergency call from SMCPS.
The resulting contract shall be awarded for a period of one (1) year with SMCPS having the option to extend the contract for four (4) additional one-year periods. SMCPS reserves the right to award the requirements of this bid in total or in part as it determines to be in the best interest of SMCPS. SMCPS reserves the right to make multiple awards. Contract awards are subject to the availability of funding. Minority Business Enterprises are encouraged to respond to this solicitation notice.

All bids must be submitted via the eMaryland Marketplace website (https://procurement.maryland.gov) on or before October 12, 2020 at 1:00 p.m.
St. Mary’s County Public Schools reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive any informality in bidding.
