 ITB SMCPC-2020-PG

The Board of Education of St. Mary’s County on behalf of Calvert, Charles and St. Mary’s County Governments and Boards of Education, referenced hereafter as the Southern Maryland Cooperative Purchasing Committee (SMCPC), is requesting sealed bids from experienced and qualified Contractors qualified Contractors to supply and deliver Propane Gas (also known as Liquefied Petroleum – LP – Gas) to public buildings, schools and centers on an automatic delivery schedule or on an on‐call delivery schedule as determined by participating SMCPC members. The successful Contractor shall provide qualified, skilled service technicians to repair and maintain propane gas equipment on an as‐needed basis.


The contract will be awarded for a period of one (1) year with the option for four (4) additional one-year renewal. The SMCPC reserves the right to award the requirements of this bid in total or in part as it determines to be in the best interest of the SMCPC. The SMCPC reserves the right to make multiple awards. Contract awards are subject to the availability of funding. Minority Business Enterprises are encouraged to respond to this solicitation notice.


Bid documents can be obtained from the Purchasing Office of the St. Mary’s County Public Schools, 23160 Moakley Street Leonardtown, Maryland; or downloaded at https://procurement.maryland.gov. Bids shall be sealed, marked on the outside of the package, “ITB #SMCPS‐2020-PG”, and received at the Purchasing Office of the St. Mary’s County Public Schools, 23160 Moakley Street, Suite 107, Leonardtown, Maryland 20650 on or before January 8, 2020 at 3:00 p.m.

St. Mary’s County Public Schools reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive any informality in bidding.
