The Board of Education of St. Mary’s County on behalf of St. Mary’s County Public Schools (SMCPS) is requesting sealed bids from experienced and qualified Contractors to replace the fire alarm system at Great Mills High School and ROTC Relocatable R-086 located at 21130 Great Mills Road, Great Mills MD 20634. This project must be completed (to include Fire Marshal testing and acceptance) by no later than August 21, 2020.


The contract will be awarded for a period of 90 days. SMCPS reserves the right to award the requirements of this bid in total or in part as it determines to be in the best interest of SMCPS. SMCPS reserves the right to make multiple awards. Contract awards are subject to the availability of funding. Minority Business Enterprises are encouraged to respond to this solicitation notice.


Bid documents can be obtained from the Purchasing Office of the St. Mary’s County Public Schools, 23160 Moakley Street Leonardtown, Maryland; or downloaded at https://procurement.maryland.gov. Bids shall be sealed, marked on the outside of the package, “ITB #SMCPS‐2020-M-GFA”, and received at the Purchasing Office of the St. Mary’s County Public Schools, 23160 Moakley Street, Suite 107, Leonardtown, Maryland 20650 on or before February 24, 2020 at 3:00 p.m.


St. Mary’s County Public Schools reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive any informality in bidding.
