Sports Officials

The MPSSAA requires that all MPSSAA-sponsored athletic contests, both regular and postseason, are officiated only by officials who are certified and registered with the MPSSAA. St. Mary's County Public Schools uses the following organizations:

  • Maryland High School Cheerleading Association
  • Tri-County Field Hockey Officials Association 
  • Washington District Football Officials Association 
  • Capital Area Soccer Referees Association 
  • Tri-County Sports Officials Association (Volleyball)
  • Maryland Basketball Officials Association 
  • Washington Metropolitan Wrestling Officials Association
  • Southern Maryland Swimming Officials 
  • Mid-Atlantic Umpires Association (Baseball)
  • Washington Area Lacrosse Officials Association (Boys)
  • Southern Maryland Women’s Lacrosse Officials Association (Girls)
  • Tri-County Sports Officials Association (Softball)
