Welcome to MUN!
Model United Nations is an authentic simulation of the U.N. General Assembly and other multilateral bodies. MUN aims to educate participants about globalization and multilateral diplomacy. In M UN, students take on roles as foreign diplomats and participate in a simulated sessions of an global organization. Participants research a country, take on roles as diplomats, investigate international issues, debate, deliberate, consult, and then develop solutions to world problems.
What will I get out of MUN?
Students participant in Model U.N. because it promotes student and teacher interest in international relations and related subjects, increases the capacity for students to engage in problem solving, teaches aspects of conflict resolution, research skills, and communication skills, team working skills, and creates the opportunity to meet new people and make new friends.
