EVENING HIGH SCHOOL

LEONARDTOWN, MD -- St. Mary’s County Public Schools’ (SMCPS) Evening High School will begin classes for the first semester of the 2009-2010 school year on Wednesday, September 16, 2009.

Registration for the first semester will be on September 8, 9, and 10, from 3:45-7:00 p.m., in the Evening High School office in Area F of Leonardtown High School.  Courses are only open to active students in St. Mary’s County Public Schools.  The fee is $75 per course, per semester. 

Regularly scheduled classes will meet on Mondays and Wednesdays or Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:45-5:40 p.m. or 5:45-7:40 p.m., at Leonardtown High School.  Students may register for up to four classes per semester.

Students should meet with their high school guidance counselors prior to registration.  Enrollment numbers for courses will determine whether or not the course is offered.
