seminar to provide details about Health Department’s

Resource Coordination Program for Individuals

with Disabilities

LEONARDTOWN, MD – Parents of children with developmental disabilities are encouraged to attend a seminar about the St. Mary’s County Health Department’s Resource Coordination Program to be held Thursday, May 22, 2008, 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., at the Lexington Park Public Library in Meeting Room A.  Children with developmental disabilities registered with Resource Coordination may be eligible for services and funding.

The guest speaker will be Ms. Janet Andrews, the client services director for the program.  During the seminar, parents will learn the eligibility criteria for the Developmental Disabilities Association (DDA), how to apply for and access services, how to complete the paperwork, and much more. Parents will have an opportunity to talk with Ms. Andrews about their individual situations.
