SOCIAL SECURITY BENEFITS FOR INDIVIDUALS WITH

DISABILITIES TO BE DISCUSSED

LEXINGTON PARK , MD –St. Mary’s County Public Schools’ Partners for Success Resource Center for Families and Schools is sponsoring a free seminar entitled, Social Security Benefits for Individuals with Disabilities, on Thursday, April 17, 2008, 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., at the Lexington Park Public Library located at 21677 FDR Blvd., Lexington Park, MD 20653 .

Ms. Tonya Gilchrist, a social security benefits specialist with Independence Now, will be the guest speaker.  Topics of discussion will include work incentive programs, medical benefits, Supplemental Security Income (SSI), and Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI).
