H.S. TO HOST 8TH GRADE ORIENTATION NIGHT AND

ADVANCED PLACEMENT INFORMATION NIGHT

 

LEONARDTOWN , MD – Leonardtown High School ’s 8th Grade Orientation Night will take place Tuesday, March 25, 2008, 6:00–8:00 p.m., at the school site. This is a great opportunity for 8th grade students and their parents to become familiar with the school for the upcoming school year. There will be a short presentation by Principal David O’Neill at 6:00 p.m., in the auditorium. Students and parents will then have the opportunity to visit with coaches, sponsors, and students to have conversations about extra-curricular programs at the school.

            The Leonardtown High Advanced Placement (AP) Information Night will be held simultaneously with the 8th Grade Orientation.  Parents and students who are interested in understanding the excitement and rigor associated with AP courses are asked to visit the school during this time to meet the department chairpersons and AP teachers.
