Pupil Personnel Services

Program Description: The pupil personnel worker is an integral part of the educational system as it extends into the home and community. Working with the community, parents, students, and school personnel, pupil personnel workers are able to assist in alleviating a students' personal-social adjustment problems. The pupil personnel worker (PPW) is a problem solver who advocates for the students' best interests within the structure of the Board of Education policies and relevant legal mandates. As personal and social problems are solved, students are better able to increase their academic knowledge and skills.
