Summer School Overview
The summer school program, which offers review courses for high
school students who have not earned passing grades, will be held at Leonardtown
High School on the following dates:
FIRST SEMESTER - June 18 to July 3, 2008
SECOND SEMESTER - July 7 to July 22, 2008
How to Register:
• Register with your counselor at your own school from Thursday, May 1 through
Friday, June 13 for first semester classes and any second semester classes you
know at that time you will need to make up.
• Final registration for FIRST SEMESTER classes will be held on June 16 and June
17 at Leonardtown High School from 7:30 until 11:30 a.m. You may also register
for any second semester classes you know you will need to make up.
• Final registration for SECOND SEMESTER classes will be held on June 30 and
July 1 at Leonardtown High School from 12:30 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.
- Full payment must be made when you
register. There will be no registration on the first day of summer school.
- You must bring documentation that proves your need for review of any class for
which you wish to register. This documentation may be in the form of your report
card, transcript, and/or letter from your counselor indicating which courses you
need to make up. Students may only register for courses in which they have
received a final grade of D or E. Courses may not be taken for original credit.
