Student Government

Each secondary school has a student council organization of officers and representatives. Student councils meet with an adviser on a regular basis to make recommendations to the school administration concerning matters affecting students, promote school spirit, provide social and recreational activities for students, and conduct community service projects. The student council sends representatives and participates in activities of the St. Mary's Association of Student Councils and Maryland Association of Student Councils.
