An information site in the field of Health Education is important because health information is constantly changing. Just go to “Health Centers” and scroll down to your topic of interest. Also, you can “Find It Quickly” by scrolling down that list of options. With any information site, be sure to check out the “Content Partners” to see what organizations or groups are contributing information to the site. In this case there are a couple of respected groups.
InteliHealth is a joint venture of Aetna U.S. Healthcare, John Hopkins, and Health Systems. More than 150 top health care organizations contribute to InteliHealth. This is a site you can trust for accurate information. When it comes to health information, accuracy can be a matter of life and death. Some highlights of the site are: Ask the Doc, Medical Dictionary, Free Health E-Mail, and Special Reports.
Monitoring the Future is an ongoing study of the behaviors, attitudes, and values of American secondary school students, college students, and young adults.
