Career and Technology Education:  Work-Based Learning Program

The Work-Based Learning program is designed to help students bridge the gap between high school and the world of work.  Students participate in supervised on-the-job training at approved community work sites.  To qualify for the program students must have completed two (2) credits in an approved career and technology education program.  Cooperative work experience credit is only awarded for employment related to the career cluster in which the student is enrolled.

The Career and Research Development program (CRD) is a program that prepares students with the academic, technical, and workplace skills necessary to seek further education and employment in a career field of their interest upon graduating high school. The program contains two in-school course(s), a portfolio development project, and a work-based learning experience.
