Student Organizations:

It is very important for students to experience as much from their school life as possible. With this in mind, the department of Career and Technology Education strongly encourages each student to seek additional experiences within their schools. We offer three outstanding student organizations. They are:

Skills USA/Vocational and Industrial Clubs of America (VICA)

Distributive Education Clubs of America (DECA)

Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA)

Each of these organizations offers intensive training in leadership skills and interpersonal skills. Our enrollments have been quite strong and every effort is made to maintain this commitment. The benefits for students have been substantial. Each organization offers exciting opportunities for skill development competitions and character development. Many of our students are able to excel and move on to state and national competitions.
