LEONARDTOWN, MD – Due to forecasted inclement weather conditions, all St. Mary’s County Public Schools will dismiss two hours early today, Thursday, January 17, 2013. All afternoon and evening activities have been cancelled.   There will be no afternoon (PM) Pre-Kindergarten for today, January 17, 2013.

As a reminder, there is no school scheduled for students tomorrow, Friday, January 18, 2013, as it is a Professional Day/Staff Development Day for Teachers. At this time, all staff should report on time on Friday, January 18, 2013. Any further communications about weather-related closings for staff for Friday, January 18, 2013, will be communicated through the normal channels of communication on Friday morning. Additionally, Monday, January 21, 2013, is a holiday in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s Birthday and all schools and offices are closed.

At this time, all scheduled weekend activities will proceed as planned.
