LEONARDTOWN, MD – St. Mary's County Public Schools Adult Education Program offers GED Test Preparation, Basic Skills Upgrade, and Family Literacy classes for adults. Classes are available mornings, afternoons, and evenings in Leonardtown and Lexington Park. Classes will begin in mid-September. There will be four 2-day orientations this year. The first 2-day orientation will be held on Monday, August 30, and Wednesday, September 1, 2010, 1:00 p.m. at the College of Southern Maryland in Leonardtown, or 6:00 p.m. at Great Mills High School. Students must attend both days of orientation to enroll in class. Registration is required prior to the orientations. For more information or to register, please call 301-475-0213.
