LEONARDTOWN, MD - Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Michael J. Martirano, announces the administrative appointment made by the Board of Education at its meeting of July 11, 2012.

The Board appointed Megan Phanthasy to the position of School Psychologist in the Department of Student Services. She is joining St. Mary’s County Public Schools from Charles County Public Schools where she has served as a School Psychologist for the past seven years. Ms. Phanthasy earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Wells College in New York, and her Master of Arts in School Psychology from Alfred University also located in New York. She completed her School Psychologist Internship with Charles County Public Schools.

This appointment is effective immediately.
